Terms of Use and Services Agreement
Welcome to Steam School a virtual education programme! We are totally stoked that you are committed to inspire and support young people to prepare for the very digital futures.
Please read this agreement, it is a blueprint for how the programme works, what you can expect from Steam School and what we expect from you as members.
Please note that Steam School is owned in its entirety by Steam School Ltd

1.0. Overview of Service
1.1. Steam School is an education programme for young people aged 11-18. Weekly webinars schedule and mini challenges are hosted and created Steam School and facilitated by parents and teachers of young people.
1.2. An ‘annual’ subscription refers to 365 subscription.
1.3. As a member of Steam School you can expect:
- A weekly broadcast with influencers and innovators working in science, tech and digital media
- A weekly broadcast trailer, a learning plan and guest toolkit.
- An opportunity to submit your students’ questions via [email protected]
- Post webinar challenge with a mini activity that compliments the guest’s talking points.
- A weekly winner and prize for the mini challenge
2.0. Guest Schedule
2.1. Steam School will provide a weekly broadcast as per the guest schedule below.
2.2. Steam School will not broadcast the week before the end of school academic holidays (Christmas, Easter & Summer).
2.3. Steam School reserves the right to change the advertised guest up until the time of the scheduled broadcast.
2.4. Steam School will broadcast all interviews LIVE on the below schedule date at 12:30pm GMT, unless otherwise stated.
2.5. Steam School may change the regular LIVE timeslot (12:30pm GMT) to accommodate guests In different timezones.

3.0. Safeguarding
3.1. Steam School Ltd is committed to the safeguarding of young people.
3.2. Steam School members have a statutory duty to protect the children in their care. Steam School hosts appointed by Steam School Member teams agree to follow the safeguarding polices of their school. when submitting questions in advance of a webinar.
3.3. Any posts on social media relating to Steam School and its members by schools or parents are the responsibility of the account holder. As such safeguarding the personal information of their members is their responsibility
4.0. Payment Terms
4.1. There are two membership packages available: An annual subscription for schools and a rolling monthly subscription for parents.
4.2. The total monthly price payable for the Membership is as set out on the order form. You may make payment via the methods that are specified on the order form. Where the payments are stated on the order form to be made in instalments or are recurring payments, you agree that we may take these payments automatically without any further consent or notice from you.
4.3. Monthly fees and annual payments are non refundable.
4.4. Steam School Ltd reserves the right to terminate membership of anyone who behaves in a rude, unpleasant or unsupportive manner.
4.5. Anyone found to be doing something uncool, like sharing logins with organisations and people who have not signed up to the club will have their membership terminated.
5.0. Intellectual Property
5.1. We are the owner or the licensee of all Intellectual Property Rights and all other rights in the materials provided to you by us as part of the Membership (“Materials”) and all content within the Programme and nothing in these Terms or otherwise shall operate to transfer the ownership of the Intellectual Property Rights in the Materials or the content of the Programme to you or to any other person.
5.2. You may not at any time copy, reproduce, publish in any form, share, sell, dispose of or otherwise make available to a third party in any way any of the Materials.
5.3. We grant to you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sub licensable, revocable licence to use all or any of the Materials for the purposes for which the Membership was provided only.
5.4. Except as set out in paragraph 6.3, you may not use any of our intellectual property rights at any time except where duly licensed. Use of our logo is strictly prohibited without our prior written consent.
5.5. You may not without our prior written consent make any audio or visual recordings of any part of our Materials.
5.6. We may from time to time record any or all or any part of the Materials being delivered during your attendance. You authorise us to use your image and voice in any such recordings (and to make use of such recording in any way we think fit) without payment, other condition or need for further consent.
5.7. You acknowledge that certain information contained in the Materials is already in the public domain.
6.0. Legal Stuff
6.1. By applying for Membership you warrant that: You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts; you are at least 18 years old; and that all information you provide us with is materially true and accurate at all times and not misleading in any way.
6.2. You also agree that Steam School Ltd as the owner and operator of Steam School reserve the right to revoke membership and accompanying benefits at any time for any reason we deem just.
6.3. Also, by agreeing to these terms, you agree that we can’t be liable to you, or any third party, for damages, including lost profits, lost savings, complaints, claims, litigation or other incidental, consequential or special damages which arise regarding this agreement.
